I set my camera to a one-second exposure and took a bunch of pics of my kids playing. I was trying to give the impression of motion within static surroundings. Here's one of my son. Unlimited energy -- he's become a blur of uncertainty. Does he exist in some quantum state of simultaneous realities? Maybe from his perspective, he does. The biggest flaw is a bit of a shake. I was free-handing it; a tripod wouldn't have stayed upright for too long with two kids nearby. Tomorrow: a cretaceous menagerie. |
