It was -31 C, -41 with the windchill. I was bundled up enough so I didn't feel too cold, the big problem was steam from my breath. If the wind hit me in the right direction, the steam would condense on my eyeglasses and instantly freeze. Then I had to scrape the frost off before I could see again. I didn't get any frost on the camera because I'd hold my breath while composing, which is quite exhausting if you do it repeatedly. Taken along the Perimeter Highway.
