A scene from Headingley, Manitoba. I bike there occasionally in the summer, it's not that far down the trans-Canada from my house. In a way, Headingley is disappointing because you'd expect it to have some small town characteristics. However it's just a suburb of Winnipeg that's not actually in Winnipeg. The architecture is veering towards McMansions and large, boxy businesses that set up shop because the taxes are lower. |
