An entrance to The Forks, a Winnipeg multi-purpose tourist destination. The temperature was -28 C. About 1.5 hours after I took this picture, my D40x froze up and start taking vastly overexposed pictures. The battery and LCD continued working fine, but the shutter or aperture (or both) were sticking, screwing up the exposure. I had my mechanical camera with me so I could still take pics, but now I know that -28 is a little too cold for a D40x. |
