Gemstar Insurance on Portage. I used a smaller aperture (f2.8 or so) with this pic. I'm beginning to think that superwide apertures, like f1.4, are sort of a gimmick. At f1.4, the quality is poor due to aberration, and the depth of field is extremely thin. An aperture of f1.4 is suitable more for low-light emergencies or for special visual effects, like mega-bokeh. Maybe that explains why most lenses start at f3.5 or f2.8 these days.
