The baby trying on a new pair of sunglasses. Even with an exposure compensation of -1, the shutter still needed 1/10 sec. I'm pretty good at holding the camera steady down to 1/8, but holding kids steady is a different problem. Plus the level adjustment to bring the image back to proper brightness adds noise. I guess I could have used the flash, but nah. If I had a Nikon D80 (3200 ISO, F3.5, kit lens), I could have gotten that down to 1/25 sec without any exposure comp. It's my wife's birthday soon, maybe she'll be getting an SLR... |
