Latest toy: a Zeiss Planar 1.4/50 T*. I got it at B&H Photo online. I chose them because they ship to Canada via US Postal, so the duties/taxes were only $5 plus GST/PST. I've heard that UPS and Fedex charge 30% brokerage fees on top of that. The cost of the lens was about the same or cheaper than similar lenses on eBay. Go figure. I admit, this picture is posed -- I stuck a keychain flashlight behind the viewfinder to give the lens a strong glow. |
