Andrew and I went for a walk at the U of M to do some speed photography -- 24 pictures in one hour. Was easy at the U of M, there are lots of things to take pics of. Very few people were walking outside though. Now that the entire campus is tunnelized, there's no reason to see the light of day if it's too cold out. I got the film developed at Superstore (yeah I know, what kind of quality did I expect). It seemed overly contrasty in that dark things were almost black. For example, the foliage in the bottom right looks like a black blob. I inspected the negatives, and I could see some details that had vanished in the prints. Maybe next time I'll go somewhere reputable... like Walmart (Hah!) |
