When you're four years old, it's no stretch of the imagination for the garage to become a cave and a hose nozzle to become a firearm.

Lately, I've been setting my camera into a sort of "street photography" mode: 400 ISO, focus manually fixed at 5 feet, and images set to black and white (mainly because 400 ISO has so much noise and color noise looks like crap).

That way I can follow the kids around, and point and shoot spontaneously, not really worrying if the light level is too low or if I've focused in the proper object in the scene.

It's pretty cool. I also think the B&W pics have their own charm. The images seem less cluttered when color isn't present.
